What's the best type of support for shooting benchrest? It's the one you can afford, argues Andy McLachlan

Considering the vast number of airgun clubs that are available for us all to make use of these days, it should come as no surprise to anyone to discover that the majority of shooters will be involved in either formal or informal supported shooting activities.

By supported, I mean that a suitable bench, either indoors or out, offers the individual the best and usually the most comfortable means of fully supporting their rifle. This in turn allows them to get the maximum accuracy from their chosen combination.
