Angel Blue

Californian-born soprano Angel Blue plays piano, bass guitar and (badly, she says) alto saxophone, but she’s quickly established a career on the world’s opera stages singing, among other roles, Violetta, Mimì and Manon, and winning two Grammys, including for Bess in the NY Met’s . She makes her debut as Verdi’s Aida at the Royal Opera House this May and gives recitals with the Met Orchestra and conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin in London, Paris, Baden-Baden and New York over the summer.
