TRAINS will operate roughly every 150 seconds between Paddington and Whitechapel, in the Elizabeth Line core section, at peak time from May 21.
This is part of the final introduction of services on the Crossrail project, with direct trains being introduced between Shenfield and Heathrow Airport.
Up to 24 trains per hour (tph) will operate in both directions during the peak period, Transport for London (TfL) confirmed on April 24. Journey times will also be shrunk from west London through Paddington while there will also be additional trains serving London Liverpool Street main line station.
