I wondered whether Jayne Shrimpton might help in my quest to uncover the Booth family as I recently discovered this wonderful photo (see right) which may contain Samuel’s son Thomas, my 2x great-grandfather, and other family members. The young man seated on the right is my great-grandfather, Arthur Booth (b. 1900), son of Thomas and grandson of Samuel. The back of the photo is unfortunately blank but I’d love to know more about it.

I have a second, very dark photo (see below), on which, as a child, I wrote “Thomas Booth?” Thomas being Samuel’s son and Arthur’s father.
