1 Setup // audio interface
Good mixes can theoretically be created with the interface in the computer, but once you have worked with a really good audio interface and experienced the direct comparison, the differences in quality quickly become clear: the sound is more brilliant, more transparent and wider. Individual elements are much easier to hear and therefore easier to tune.
2 Setup //monitoring
Monitor boxes belong to a good interface like strawberries to cream. If one of them is bad, the other one will no longer taste good. Speakers ensure - correctly set up and positioned - for a clean sound that mercilessly shows weaknesses.
