Serena – The Vintage Collector
When you come across Serena’s Instagram (@sewrena_) you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d stepped back in time. Serena, a stay-at-home mum based in the US, lives and breathes vintage. With a stunningly decorated home filled with mid-century modern pieces, a 1962 Chevy Corvair Monza on the driveway and a plethora of stunning handmade clothes, Serena has the perfect mid-century modern life. But where did this love of vintage begin?
“I have always enjoyed vintage and historical dress,” she says. “Grade school was the first time I experimented with my style. I was in love with the flashy, colourful looks of the 1970s. My love of mid-century themes, fashion and decor started very young and stuck with me.”
