British Ceramics Biennial AWARD 2023

From 23 September to 5 November this year, the eighth edition of the British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) Festival will take place in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, the home of British ceramics. BCB is the single largest contemporary ceramics event in the UK, with each edition bringing together contemporary works by some of the UK’s leading artists working with clay, alongside work by international artists.

AWARD 2023 will once again take centre stage as the headline exhibition of the BCB Festival, and it’s a pleasure to share details of the 10 artists who have been selected this year. These artists celebrate the vitality of contemporary ceramics practice in the UK and also set the tone for the rest of the Festival programme.
