Many professionals use a company-supplied iPhone or Android handset for business, but the ThinkPhone is a true professional smartphone. Made in partnership with Lenovo’s ThinkPad division (Lenovo now owns the Motorola brand), it sports a design that echoes the classic ThinkPad style – and supports corporate deployment and management via custom tools such as Moto Device Manager.
IT departments will also appreciate the fact that, alongside the usual protections offered by Android 13, the phone includes a hardware security module called Moto KeySafe. This isolates encryption keys and other security information from main memory, making them much more difficult for hackers to access.
Design difference
