Jewell of a 7810

I look forward to meeting new people at the Somerset Vintage & Classic Tractor Show, and this year’s event was no exception. This time I was lucky enough to chat with Ken and Lee Marsh, plant hire and groundworks contractors from Bridgwater.

Their two-wheel drive, 1989 Ford 7810 was one of the stars of the show, having recently been restored for them by renowned Somerset Ford and New Holland contact Ken Boobyer. The project saves a notable model for the rally scene, but also represents the tractors of the local Sedgemoor area, especially those supplied by L F Jewell Ltd. of Bridgwater – a fondly remembered main dealer.
