David Scholl had grown up on a dairy farm, at Dallarnil, Queensland, always working hard and helping his parents, before and after school. When his father passed away, just two weeks after he’d left school, he worked with his Mum for the next three years, and eventually, in 1987, bought the dairy property from her.
Four years later, David, who’d had horses all his life, met Di, a city girl who was always ‘into horses’. They got married a few years later, and kept the dairy farm going until 2013.
