I want to take time and space on this page again to thank everyone who has written in to voice their opinion on HOT ROD magazine, and the automotive aftermarket in general. We have received a lot of email, and a surprising number of handwritten letters sent via the US Postal Service. I am working my way through all of them and really do appreciate the constructive criticism.
One question that’s been posed on several occasions is why don’t is a pretty big website that generates a lot of web traffic. To keep the level of traffic consistent (hopefully on the rise) there is a nearly endless need for new material to be posted online. In other words, we’ve got to feed the beast! If it’s something I know I want to run in print, I’ll often hold off publishing that article on the website until the magazine goes on sale. If, for some reason, I’m not able to wait on posting something to the website, I’ll often keep the best pictures exclusive to the print magazine. There’s a very specific cover car you will see in a couple months that will have its best pictures in print first.
