And so on. Get used to the comical Bacon-related headlines because 20-year-old enduro phenom Kyron is the real deal and is unlikely to slow down any time soon. But how did the 2022 AORC and A4DE winner get so fast, so quickly?

His secret lies in his Tasmanian roots. When you grow up in a dirtbike-mad family, the opportunity to be the fastest enduro rider in Australia is there. But lots of kids have that same opportunity. Started riding aged three: check. A competitive dad who used to race enduro: check.

But how many aspiring enduro legends have a wide range of incredible, technical, muddy, slippery, rootinfested trails within 15 minutes of their back door? And how many would be able to slip out for a ride on those trails with a former world champion?
