My Somerset ancestor, John Board, appears to have married four times – twice bigamously. He married Rebecca Moore in 1777 in Buckland St Mary (but I can find no death for her); Prudence Channing in 1781 in Staple Fitzpaine (buried 1794 in Trull); Mary Dare in 1796 in Trull; and Sarah Garrat in Trull in 1809 (I couldn’t find a burial record for
