artier takes flight with the Santos-Dumont Skeleton, a striking timepiece available in rose gold, steel and a limited edition yellow-gold and navy lacquer. Inspired by the pioneering aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, every aspect of the watch pays homage to his legacy, including a nostalgic replica of his Demoiselle plane functioning as a miniaturised oscillating weight. It is powered by Cartier’s new in-house calibre 9629 MC, comprising 212 components, which took the manufacture nearly two years to develop.
