“I just love the art of making something out of nothing,” says Phoebe Go. “Rearranging things you know and feel into some brand new kind of truth, and doing it with total honesty and freedom.”

She's been writing music since she was 10 years old and playing in bands since high school. But it was when Phoebe Go decided to trust her intuition and go solo that she found her authentic voice – which dances on folky guitar strings, full of wistfulness and heart – and discovered the joy in sharing it with others.

“I was like, ‘Hell yeah, I'm just doing my thing,’” says Go of branching out on her own. “And I'm really proud of myself for getting there even though it was so unknown. I guess being scared is a pretty silly reason not to do something.”

“Go” by name and nature – the pseudonym is symbolic of being lifted up, and pressing “go” on something new – on her debut EP , the 28-year-old artist weaves feelings and experiences into verses that are capable of haunting you with their beauty and sincerity.
