We are lucky enough to have grown a business over the last 20 years that allows us to take time out and work from a laptop. When we first started exploring Europe for six-week holidays, remote working wasn’t a thing, unless you were working as a super techie genius.
Our friends were (and probably still are) quite shocked that we can spend so much time away, also assuming we spent a lot more money than we did. We believe that each six-week holiday is an investment in our family time and in broadening our boys’ minds to life outside of our hometown bubble.
