Q Why are some laundry stains so difficult to remove? — Emily S.

 Soiled areas are by far like coffee, wine and juice may be flushed out with water if treated immediately. , as from salad dressing and burger grease, cling to fibers (especially synthetics and knits) and can yellow over time if not thoroughly washed out in warm or hot water. And , such as from lipstick and pasta sauce, require multiple steps to dissolve the grease and then erase the color. While there’s no magic to removing stains, it’s crucial to tackle them promptly, work carefully and use the correct methods for the stain and fabric.
