Tafta residents claim neglect

‘elder abuse’

PENSIONERS living at The Association For The Aged’s (Tafta) John Conradie House, claim they are being served food that is not cooked properly.

They also said some of the facilities are broken and not being fixed.

Residents, who declined to be named due to fear of victimisation, said they pay R1 555 a month from their old-age grant for accommodation and meals.
