‘Crompton’ tour cancelled

PATHFINDER’S railtour ‘The Canterbury Venturer’, which was to have taken two Class 33s to Margate on September 24, has been cancelled due to poor bookings.

‘PLA’ to run at Blaenavon

HUDSWELL, Clarke ‘PLA’ 0-6-0T No. – plus residents Hunslet 0-6-0ST and Barclay 0-4-0STs and No. 1219 ‘Caledonia Works’. Following restoration at West Somerset Restoration, Williton, No. 1857 moved to Blaenavon on August 9 where it is to remain for the foreseeable future.
