THE WINGED EMBRACE

ahra Karimi is a 15-year-old independent artist and a former student at Fugee School. Having endured extreme, which took Karimi three days to paint, it speaks about a woman who wants to fly as high as the birds and achieve her dreams behind the golden sun. The dark hole in her back represents the difficulties she’s going through, but even though there’s darkness, flowers bloom, representing hope and resilience. She explains, “I wanted to show that humans can always find a light in the darkness while reaching for their dreams, so they shouldn’t give up.”
