Donington Park; the European Grand Prix; 1993. We all know that one. Ayrton Senna laid down the law to everyone – particularly to his perennial rival Alain Prost – on how to drive in damp conditions.
Less commonly remembered is that exactly one race later the tables turned. In 1993’s San Marino Grand Prix at Imola Prost trounced Senna on a similar slippery surface. The race took place exactly 30 years ago on Tuesday.
