Positive changes have begun to take place in the lives of the residents of Bastar, whether it be on an economic, social, or political basis. This has been made possible due to the untiring efforts of state government, which first earned the trust of the people of Bastar, and then worked on a development plan that was based on their needs. Utmost attention was paid to the needs of the tribal class and strengthening their economic status. Children’s education and health were kept paramount. Now the life of Bastar residents is becoming safe from every aspect.

Naxalism was a big challenge when Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel assumed office. Before thehealth, electricity, water to the people living in these areas and to link them with livelihood related activities. The government also worked in these areas by changing the rules for the amount of DMF.
