Snowdrops are one of the first signs of spring, to be followed by dashes of spring colours and shapes as other flowers appear. I find nature very exciting at this time as the first sight of snowdrops coming through other still-dormant plants brings a sense of renewal, reminding me to look forward to the days ahead.
In this painting I captured the spring colours and shapes that inspire me so uch, the shapes of new foliage and plants that create both a buzz about nature and the arrival of bees.
