TOP 10 WARBIRDS

Big, multicylinder engines thundering down the flightline instantly shoot adrenaline into the bloodstream of any airplane lover along with a side of patriotism and occasional chills. It’s no wonder that as modelers we love our warbirds. We asked MAN editors and contributors to let us know their favorites and while the answers were wide-ranging, we distilled them down to the following list.

A quick note on warbirds. While a modern A-10 or F-18 can surely make war, we are sticking with the classics: WW-II and Korean War era, propeller-driven combat or observation aircraft. We love these famous aircraft, and we hope you will too!
