AMD launched its much-anticipated 3D V-cache enabled AM5 processors in March, but curiously left one out, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, to be launched in April instead. As the much-anticipated successor to the 5800X3D AM4 part it seemed odd that AMD would hold back the sequel to its most popular gaming CPU, but we can surmise why.
