Pro Tip

Top designers share their favourite stitching tips

“Always wash and press your work”

“It’s so important to give your work a wash and a final press before framing. Washing will remove any oils from your hands that may show up as stains later. Pressing will remove creases and any distortions and give your work a fresh finish. Always iron on the back on a low setting, using a clean towel underneath your work to protect it.”
