SOWING ON THE EDGE

Here is my tip for transplanting seedlings. Sow seeds around the edge of the pot, then when you are ready to transplant the seedlings gently tip the whole pot out and you will find the roots outside the compost. Carefully hold a leaf and pull gently and the rest will come with it and transplant as normal, so avoiding too much root disturbance.
