Can retailer refuse repair if I can prove an inherent fault?
Q In June 2021, I bought a Mobvoi TicWatch Pro S (pictured) for £178.39. I already owned one, so I put it away and forgot about it. We started to use it recently when my husband’s own smartwatch became faulty, but it will charge to only 50 per cent. Mobvoi first said it would repair the watch if it’s shown to be inherently faulty, but has now changed its mind. Is it allowed to do this?
