The Hunt 25 Carbon Gravel Race looks to combine ride versatility with low weight for use over varied terrain. It credits the low weight to its hookless rim technology and all-new Sprint SL hub, which is made from an alloy with an exceptionallya problem exclusive to Hunt but it didn’t prevent a moment of sweary despair. Happily, though, these were the only wheels on test (apart from the Campagnolo Levante) that come complete with a brake rotor centre locking ring and that was appreciated for easier fitting of the brake rotor, especially at this contrasting price point. Other manufacturers please take note.
