SIX PPEAL

HOT VANS

The title of this feature could well have been ‘Evolution of Van’ as Toz took the similarly long and winding road that many do when it comes to their van ownership history, starting many, many years ago with a Bay Window Devon conversion and working his way through another six vans before he bought this VR6 ‘velle nine years ago. Nine years is a very long time for most when it comes to van ownership – plenty of our readers and feature peeps might get through ten plus vans in that time!

But not Toz; he’s found a van that he loves – after plenty of practice – and he has no plans to ever wave it a tearful farewell. He hadn’t really planned to sell the last one either, but it got written off, so he went to London the very next day and bought this one, although it looked nothing like it does now, having been painted Toffee Brown when he bought it over a lot of rot.

“It’s good but it’s not right” to paraphrase Roy Walker
