PATTERN NOTES

The garment is worked in the round throughout, with steeks cast on for the armhole and neck. Decreases are worked each side of the neck to form a V-neck. The shoulders are joined using a three-needle cast-off.

Steeks are worked over 9 sts. Alternate 1 st in background colour and 1 st in contrast colour as used in main chart, or work in one colour as designated by the chart.

With natural Shetland yarn, it is not necessary to reinforce the cut edges. Once cut, the steek stitches become a facing that folds to the inside. Stitches
