Barry locomotive restoration gains charitable status

THE Llangollen Railway Great Western Locomotive Group, which is spearheading the restoration of GWR 2-6-2T No. 5532 – which has yet to steam in preservation – announced on March 14 that it had officially gained charitable status, and that HM Revenue & Customs had additionally confirmed it eligible to claim Gift Aid on donations made
