BEYOND BLISS

BEHIND THE QUILT

SUBTLE & SOFT!

“This quilt uses Bliss by Three Sisters – a beautiful range from Moda Fabrics – and we absolutely love the subtle colouring of peach, grey, coffee, red and aqua. We wanted our sashing to be the focal point of this quilt, so we continued the sashing into the wide border to ensure we did not lose the design. This makes the design suitable for a large bed size quilt and makes a change from our typical Jelly Roll quilts.

“We used one of our favourite rulers – the Creative Grids 2 Peaks in 1 – to make the triangle in a square unit. There are other rulers on the market that you can also use, but make sure you are using the correct markings. We have also included templates if you don’t want to use a ruler to make this unit.” – Pam & Nicky Lintott
