Best man’s confession ‘I LOVE YOU’

I giggled as my mate, Bryant, cracked a joke. ‘You’re hilarious,’ I laughed. Aged 16, I got to know Bryant, 15, at school.

We were great mates and he always made me laugh.

One day, after class, we chatted about my boyfriend, John*, 16, and I whipped out a photo. ‘Hey, I know him,’ Bryant smiled.

‘No way!’ I grinned.

A huge school, lunch breaks were separated.

Having a different one to John and Bryant, I hadn’t realised they’d met.
