The Guv’nor is home to an effects loop on the back via a single socket, which is engaged whenever the pedal isn’t bypassed.
Rather than modify the pedal, however, Marshall has kept the same dual-purpose send/return jack, so you’ll need to use an insert cable (remember those?) to give you send and return sockets.
