Solid footing

Many years of wear have created surfaces to original stone floors in homes, with a character that cannot be recaptured. Original floor surfaces are attractive and increasingly rare; nevertheless, old stone floors continue to be disregarded, altered or replaced indiscriminately to the detriment of old houses.
