Thorpeley Stud Harborough Ride, Saddington, Leics

HARRIET WALKER and Worthapunt delivered an A* performance over a staminatesting course to be crowned deserving winners of a topquality field.

Harriet and fiancé Will Bishop were neck and neck as they loomed into view of the finish, powering through the treeline on the crest of the hill ahead of the run down to the final two Fernie hedges.

Will and his multiple hunt ride winner Top Up The Fashion touched down over the last a fraction ahead, but with a final burst of fire Harriet and the 10-year-old “Wurzel” edged in front to bag the win.

“I had him!”
