WHEELS DAY Surrey Street Rodders' annual season-opening extravaganza to raise money for charity and kick off the UK car show season takes place on Good Friday, which this year is on April 7. Expect to see Americans, hot rods, custom cars, British classics, VWs – basically anything interesting on four or two wheels. John Price will be on the P/A and there will be many traders and autojumble, with plenty of activities for kids and the whole family, as well as food and drink retailers. MIDLAND AMERICAN AUTO CLUB ALL AMERICAN CAR,TRUCK & BIKE SHOW Opens to the public at 11am. The 2023 show will have numerous cars, trucks and bikes on display, including big rigs, movie cars, hot rods, rat rods, pick-up trucks from the early 1900s to the latest models. There will be a large outdoor and indoor autojumble section at the show. Show and tell is where we go over the history of some interesting vehicles and interview the owners. Featured vehicles this year are American emergency response vehicles such as fire engines, police cars and ambulances. Admission is €10 and under 14s go FREE when accompanied by a paying adult.
