Exhibitions can be logistically complicated, sometimes challenging, as all sorts of problems can crop up attending an exhibition.
Over time the AMRM Team has developed several techniques and tips for having a successful exhibition; one key element is simplification.
Layout design and Wiring
We developed board construction which has a smooth base with access holes, and integral back drops and lighting. (See AMRM issue June 2021 No.348 ‘Cameo Boards’). These construction techniques protect the wiring from damage and reduce set up time as everything is already incorporated into the layout boards, lighting, backdrops etc – almost plug and play!
DCC operation has simplified wiring, using simple rules such as black wire on the inside, red on the outside, meaning that trouble shooting is easier.
