Kiwi boot polish

AFTER MORE THAN a century of putting a shine on Britain’s shoes, Kiwi boot polish will no longer be on sale in our shops. It seems that an Englishman (and one assumes also Welsh, Scots and Irish) is no longer judged by the shine on his shoes and that, in the face of falling sales, the American multinational owner of Kiwi has decided that it doesn’t make economic sense to continue in the British market.
