A schematic might sound a bit fancy, but it’s actually just a diagram with measurements. They’re most often used in garment patterns, but you sometimes see them in other patterns, such as bags and hats.
Schematics work with the text, charts, tables, diagrams and other information in the pattern to help you make the item. A schematic is really useful for understanding the shape, size and construction of a project.
