AS FAR as jobs go it’s got to be close to the bottom on the desirable list – but when the president comes knocking, it’s hard to say no.

You have to roll up your sleeves and get on with it, no matter how high the mountain might be to climb.

And let’s face it, the mountain the new electricity minister is facing is daunting enough to make Everest seem easy.

Kgosientsho Ramokgopa’s job in a nutshell is to oversee the black sheep that is Eskom and to end loadshedding. It’s a tall order and South Africans, fed up with failure and empty promises, are sceptical.
