I have previously written articles about painting with gouache in Leisure Painter and wrote about the technical properties of the medium. It is a lovely medium to work with and so much more forgiving than watercolour, simply because you are able to work from dark to light. In this month’s issue we are going to paint a dappled, sunlit area ot a bluebell woodland at Borthwood Copse, here on the Isle of Wight. I hope you enjoy painting along with me.
