BRIEFS New York City NEIGHBOURgood
Built on New York City’s High Line is a green oasis in a frenetic urban space. It runs along the Hudson River, from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to 34th Street, and though this 2.3km stretch attracts some eight million visitors a year, it’s managed to evade all the trappings of a typical tourist hangout. In among the trees, above the bustling streets, even locals seek out peace here.
