I was a fully fledged bookworm at a very young age, and was often reprimanded for walking through the house while reading a book, instead of paying attention to what it was my parents had asked me to do. It didn’t help that I was as clumsy then as I am now, so being engrossed in what I was reading could turn into an extreme sport.
