CRACIDS
THE blue-throated piping guan (Pipile cumanensis), is a large and striking bird, which to many has a prehistoric look. Its head and neck could be considered disproportionately small compared to its larger body and tail. Around the head it sports bare skin, which ranges in colour from white to cobalt blue. The legs and feet are red.
