Southern Bulleids return to the main line

FOUR coaches from the Bluebell Railway fleet, including three Southern Railwaydesigned Bulleid vehicles dating back to the early-1950s, returned to the main line in February, albeit for a move in connection with a filming job which took place at Hull station.

The vehicles, which had earlier moved to West Coast Railway’s Carnforth base to be prepared for their main line trip, ran to Hull behind ‘Black Five’ No. 44932 on February 13.

As well as the three Bulleid coaches, which were given TOPS identities
