If you have an ancestor who lost their life in one of the two world wars, you can try to find where they were buried or commemorated on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission’s website (). The organisation is responsible for the commemoration of 1.7 million personnel from across the Commonwealth, buried within 153 countries, as well as civilians who died during World War 2.
