Treaty sees flee-flowing trade throughout the UK
BREXIT continues to be an issue for countries in a certain part of the northern hemisphere. The latest is the United Kingdom and the European Union have signed a new agreement for the Northern Ireland Protocol, which has been an ongoing source of tension since it was introduced in 2021.
Dubbed the Windsor framework, the deal covers a range of areas – but the core of it sees less checks at the UK’s border with the Republic of Ireland and scraps all trade restrictions between Britain and Northern Ireland.
