We start with the Electribe-R, a replica of the Electribe ER-1. This small digital groovebox was launched together with the EA-1 in 1999 and was responsible for the beats together as a duo. But the plug-in is „vintage“ in both senses, because it is based on the iElectribe app for iOS, which also has a good 12 years under its belt.
This small groovebox offers eight tracks. Four of them are virtual-analog and provide the sine, triangle, sawtooth and square with 15 different types. The beat is programmed via a chaser sequencer with up to 64 steps or in real time, whereby parameter movements (MotionRecord) can also be recorded - another important component of the special Electribe grooves.
